Further.cc is me, Ben.

You may have heard about some of my bike rides, the Mountain Bike Double Everest, or a Million feet in 100 days maybe, or another daft idea I’ve schemed, but hopefully you’re here to look into building up some fancy wheels.

Further opened in spring 2023, working in the bicycle industry all my working life, whether a mechanic in Queenstown, Mountain bike guide in Canada, coach in Whistler bike park, every fulfilling endeavour and experience has led me to this, a small tin workshop in Queenstown housing an overpriced wheel jig.

Further is my attempt to make a living doing what I enjoy - building the highest quality wheels possible for the best community in the world, and riding my bike in-between. In previous jobs I’ve often been coined the ‘wheel guy’ as it’s a job I thoroughly enjoy, the variables and options, the process and results.
